A brilliant piece of kit for a beginner - intermediate DJ trying to find their feet in mixing, offering huge flexibility in sound sources including Turntables, CD's, CDR, USB & Computer, Ipod, and MP3.
FEATURES:

GOOD:
- Huge flexibility in control and sound source
- Simple layout providing a straight forward introduction to DJ-ing
- Provides a professional level of kit for an affordable price of £700 (official)
BAD:
- The effects unit lacks flexibility with the limited amount of effects available
- The controller is designed around Traktor LE so it becomes hard to control better versions of the software such as Traktor Pro 2 when you become more familiar with DJ-ing
- The controller itself is made of plastic and feels fairly weak, not to mention the internal electronic failures many people have complained about.
OVERVIEW:
At a price of only £700 for all of this, it looks like an offer no DJ could refuse! Despite the Mixdeck's downfalls, I think it has a nice overall feel to it and is helpful in terms of a DJ finding the route they want to go down. It also has a large range of connectivity which is helpful for adding effects units, to compensate for its in built one, or other sound cards ...
